This course is designed to equip student teachers with modern methodologies for teaching Spanish in Primary schools, emphasizing a communicative approach. It also explores and reviews the task based learning approach, providing student teachers with essential resources and pedagogical support-such as materials, strategies, assessment tools, and techniques-tailored to the multilingual and multicultural context of Belizean society.

Spanish Methods Spring 2025

The classes will focus on applying these methodologies to teach Spanish language skills (listening, reading, speaking and writing) while addressing socio-cultural aspects and integrating technological teaching tools.
